About

Here we are passionate about weaving ancient wisdom and wild living into modern life.

We deliver inspiring and enriching nature connection events, mentoring and education, with the aim of awakening and restoring curiosity, enchanment and wonder.

When we are in reciprocal relationship with the elemental, natural world we can feel a sense of belonging that is vital to health - though we may forget, our bones know the magic of sitting around a fire, or under the sky.

Lucy Wolf

Founder & Director

I care about remembering our place within our natural world.

Weaving belonging to the land and each other through each moment, each day, each turning of the seasons.

I like wandering in the woods, nettles, foxes and making fires.

I am a mother to Ragnar who is 9 years old and rapidly becoming more skilful with an axe than me.

After a childhood in South London I have found vitality through direct conversation and exploration with the wild. Friending plants, wildlife, weather patterns and my own senses as well as training in creative outdoor leadership & facilitation.

I hope to awaken a curiosity within you.

Exploring and appreciating nature has always been a major focus in my life. Whether it be long dog walks off the beaten track, hiking through the Scottish highlands or just a calming day by the sea; being in the great outdoors is where I want to be.

When I had my son Jude, 5 years ago, it really awakened my desire to learn more about the world we live in, how to respect it and how to help it thrive. I wanted to learn more and pass my knowledge onto him so that he could appreciate mother nature and everything around us. I also hope that he will be able to continue gaining knowledge as he grows and pass it onto future generations.

When I arrived at the fireside with Lucy, I instantly felt a connection. I felt like I had found my place. Being a part of The Village and being able to bring it to Surrey is so special to me and I can’t wait to meet you all!
